"We understand that visiting a new church can be intimidating. But here at Compassion, we want you to know that we are a church full of imperfect people, growing from different levels in Christ, and all trying to find and follow Jesus. So we invite you to bring all of your scars, imperfections, mistakes, and even your broken past and join us on our journey and mission to share the love of Jesus Christ to a world in need. I can't wait to meet you Sunday!"
- Pastor Travis Mills
What should i expect?
We are a modern style church with energetic contemporary praise & worship.
We have nursery and Compassion Kids classes that we dismiss for after praise and worship. On Wednesday evenings, this includes our Compassion Students' service as well.
We have no dress code. Some wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, dresses, or collared shirts. Just dress how you're comfortable. We just want to see you here!
What Should I Expect?
You will be greeted by a friendly member of our Hospitality Team when you first come in. Someone from our team will hand you a connect card to fill out and put into the offering plates later in service. Or, you can also complete one here online. We will all start out together with praise & worship. Then, after tithes/offering and a few announcements, we will dismiss our kids and get ready for the sermon and prayer in the altars.
How Can I Connect & Make New Friends?
We highly recommend you take our 2-step Immerse Course program. Immerse Course is designed to teach you about our DNA, mission, vision, beliefs, & how you can connect and get plugged into our church family. We meet @ 9am the first Sunday of each month for Step 1. We will have breakfast snacks, coffee, bottled water, & all the supplies you'll need for class. Childcare is also provided for parents with young children. Sign-up with a volunteer at the Welcome Center in the lobby. After completing Immerse Course, you may sign up at the Welcome Center for a Reach Team and start volunteering with us.
Do You Have Small Groups?
Yes! We invite you to visit our cGroups page and learn all about our groups and sign-up for Spring or Fall semester.
